Gales
Wines
Although many of the Gales Country Wines are
natural to the English countryside, some have to be imported, usually from
places with less intensive agricultural practices. For instance, Cowslips are
protected species in the United Kingdom, so they are obtained from other
countries.
The constituents of each wine are blended or
steeped with grape juice and then held for varying periods to extract the full
flavour. The wines can be refreshing as a spritzer, long and cool in the
summer, or savoured more traditionally on their own: either way is excellent.
